Dara Hamarneh founded the house in 2019, between Amman and elsewhere. The work begins with form: a trapeze, an asymmetric flap, a cylinder - then with material: calfskin, calf hair, suede, all traceable, all worked by hand in a family-owned factory in Tuscany. The colours come from sand and from a mother's wardrobe. The shapes come from a Middle Eastern point of view. Each piece is made to be carried for years.
